Remember to Breathe
March 2nd, 2008
One of my goals for this spring is to do a little spring cleaning of my own, starting with my Inbox(es). It seems a bit intimidating. There are messages that go back to 2004 in there and I’m not sure if I want to delete what could be important details, information, love letters/emails, network contacts, original poetry from friends, articles to read, recipes, etc. So I was looking for some help. I found ZenHabits.net had an article/blog post called Email Zen: Clear Out Your Inbox. Perfect.
The short of it is you should only have one archive folder, and if needed, a to-do folder and a “waiting for” or hold folder. This seems easier said then done. We’ll see.
Other good reads include: A Guide to Escaping Materialism and Finding Happiness and Can You Spot These 10 Thinking Sins? which cover tips to recover positive thinking habits that are sure to make you feel better. He’s right, there’s nothing productive about negative thinking.
I can do this! I will do this!
